We are a publisher and one of the main responsible for the production and distribution of Comic Books e Sticker Albums in Brazil. We work with several licenses, such as Marvel, Disney, Vertigo, DC, Maurício de Sousa among others, and we have the mission to bring entertainment and good stories to the homes of our readers.

Panini is looking for Revisores Editoriais Freelancers to collaborate on future editorial projects, including comic books, manga, books, magazines, albums, collections and licensed content.

We seek professionals who are attentive to details, with excellent command of the Portuguese language and passion for the editorial universe, who contribute to ensure the quality, clarity and consistency of the contents published by the company.

Main Activities and Possible Projects

• Perform spelling, grammatical and textual revision of editorial contents, ensuring linguistic quality and compliance with Portuguese language standards;
• Review translations and adaptations, verifying fidelity to the original content, reading fluidity and suitability for the target audience;
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, agreement, typing and textual inconsistency errors;
• Evaluate the coherence, clarity and standardization of texts, ensuring an appropriate reading experience;
• Perform revision of dialogues, narratives, support texts, captions, titles, speech bubbles of comic stories and other editorial elements;
• Check character names, specific terms, cultural references and information related to the works;
• Ensure the correct application of glossaries, editorial standards and guidelines defined for each project;
• Make notes and suggestions for textual improvement when necessary;
• Work together with translators, editors, designers and other professionals involved in the editorial process;
• Check final materials before publication, contributing to the delivery of products with high editorial quality;
• Meet revision deadlines according to the schedules defined for each project.

• Proven experience in text and editorial material revision;
• Excellent command of the Portuguese language, grammar, spelling and text interpretation;
• Attention to detail, critical sense and ability to identify inconsistencies;
• Experience with revision of books, magazines, comic books, manga or similar materials;
• Ability to work with different language styles and audiences;
• Organization, commitment to deadlines and autonomy in the execution of activities.
